Ridiculous. I get tired of the constant blurring between immigration and ILLEGAL immigration. I support legal immigration and I even support reforming the process so that it's less difficult and more streamlined. I DO NOT support those who come to this country, disregard the rules in place, and then demand citizenship, as if they're entitled to it.

Unfortunately these days CIR has just become pc speak for "legalise illegals(especially hispanics)"

They're not talking about reforming and streamlining LEGAL immigration procedures/laws which admittedly do have some areas that could do with some changes, particularly the processing times for certain visas etc.

Default GOP hurt by more than this; get serious

Pubs are against illegal immigration but over 8 years, they did nothing to stop it. If they did do anything to stop it, like everything else they attempt, they were UNSUCCESSFUL.

Since Pubs are unsuccessful at solving the illegal immigration problem, they resort to their other favorite cause: discrimination. Pubs discriminate against latinos more than they protest against illegal immigration.

Pubs will never get the latino vote.

A pro illegal conference. Soon as Republicans get us citizens voter ID cards (the biometric kind Mexico has) to prevent millions of illegals from taking our votes in every election, well then we can vote in the right leaders to govern who are actually for the American people.

How are Republicans discriminating against Latinos? The reason the Republicans will never get the Latino vote is because they aren't the party of social programs and handouts.

This is a big issue with good old Jeb Bush, our former Florida governor and my least favorite of the Bush brothers. I could not stand him and never voted for him. His wife is of Hispanic origin, which is fine, it is just some background information. He is a crook, JMO.

I call BS!

It in no way hurts the GOP, if anything it makes them stronger.

Absolutely! The majority of Americans want our immigration laws enforced and our borders secured. The Republicans are the ones pushing for these things so how can that hurt them? The Hispanic vote doesn't mean squat compared to the number of non-Hispanic voters in this country. Their numbers just aren't there. All they do is make a lot of noise and make threats.
