"Albeit, San Jose does not have the cleanest air in the nation.
Even so, the skies went dark and a foul odor, reminiscent of the days when this town was mostly about cow chips rather than silicon ones, permeate the air on this June day.
Flipping open the local rag for a hint as to what might be causing the nasty air disturbance, I found my answer on the first page: Mexican President Felipe Calderon is in town"!
I've never met such a misguided blogger as lollipop.
This thread has nothing to do with illegal immigration. Like him or not, he spoke nothing on illegal immigration.
President CALDERON was part of the commencement program at Stanford University. He spoke on the global leadership and preservation of the environment. He also wished best of luck to the graduates.

Wrong:
Quote:
As it turns out, the bumbling Mexican is in San Jose seeking (begging) a loan for the completion of that border fence that is being built to keep poor invaders from Guatemala from invading Mexico!
Quote:
Thus, in his pitch to Senators Boxer and Feinstein and House Democrats, Calderon will claim that the only reason Mexico is building the fence is to keep unskilled, uneducated, poor Guatemalans from invading America via Mexico!
Quote:
Out of the goodness of his heart, Calderon is willing to build that fence, provided his Yankee "useful idiots"—the Democrats—front him a billion.
You copied those quotes from the blog. None of it was spoken at the commencement. The blogger may not like him publicly speaking at a U.S. University for the issues he supports and that is okay but he spoke nothing related to illegal immigration at the graduation.

Of course you would think that because he is opposed to illegal immigration. Yes, the thread does have to do with illegal immigration. Didn't you read the entire article?
That may be part of what Calderon did while there but do you have proof that was all he was here for? Prove the article wrong then.

He did not only speak at a graduation during his visit. And, as usual, he continues to pathetically whine about his illegal citizens. I feel embarrassed for him. Can you imagine our president begging a foreign nation to provide jobs and support for U.S. citizens living illegally in their country? Obviously, the man has no shame, and no pride.

SAN JOSE (CBS/AP) — Mexican President Felipe Calderon was in the San Francisco Bay area where he spoke at a San Jose job training center about immigration issues and other topics.
Speaking at the Center for Employment and Training on Saturday, Calderon told a crowd of more than 600 people that walls or what he called “abusive laws” will not stop people from migrating to the U.S. He told the gathering that Mexico needs more labor opportunities.
