An example of who the state cuts the monthly checks to is an unemployed 43-year-old illegal immigrant from Mexico who gets $650 a month for each of her four children and about $500 in federal food stamps and other vouchers.
$650 *4 = $2,600 + $500 = $3,100 *12 = $37,200 year plus whatever the mothers earning under the table -- and if the father lives with them -- whatever he earns.

2011 HHS Poverty Guidelines

If the mother, father and children are all living together, the above referenced benefits (ca. 2009) exceed the 2011 poverty guidelines for a family of 6 by $7,210!

On top of this, they aren't paying for health insurance, and who knows what type of housing assistance they are receiving.

Are they paying any sort of federal or state income taxes on this money?

You can bet the illegals are using their EBT cards to do more than feed the kids.

Here is what that card was often used for in California until just recently being restricted. Who knows how those cards are being used in the other welfare states:

U.S. welfare: U.S. Senate welfare proposal mirrors California restrictions - latimes.com

Imagine that. Some of us actually go to work to feed our families. The illegal aliens don't. Those who work have to feed the illegals too. What a monstrosity of injustice. And here is what some of those opposed to restricting the EBT cards said:

Quote:
Advocates for the poor noted that the money identified by The Times represents less than 1% of the total spending of CalWorks, the state's main welfare program. And they called the new proposal mean-spirited.
LMAO...the entire welfare system needs to shut down...

Haha. That article is all about how Americans are abusing EBT.

Are you saying that illegals are not issued EBT cards to feed their US born kids?

Here is an article on Federal and State welfare money (tax payer funded) being handed to immigrants and their offspring. Illegals and their US born children are also included in the data:

http://www.cis.org/articles/2011/imm...e-use-4-11.pdf

The cost to feed, clothe, educate and house these third world people (most with very low education attainment) who arrive daily on our shores is an enormous burden upon the US taxpayer. And will be for most of their adult lives. Another reason to completely end the welfare socialist system we've created. It's a magnet that draws them here.
