"Critics of state and local government action on immigration fail to keep in mind one simple but critical point: The states have these rights."
As James Madison noted in The Federalist Papers, “The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the States.”
He would just ignore it like anything else that is part of the American way of life, since he is an "America Hater," too.
Speaking of ignoring, this morning I activated my "ignore list" in this forum and I added about 10 people to it. It will be a great day in here from now.
Did Obama say that the states do not have those rights or something?
Can someone answer this? Has Obama or anyone in authority denied that the states have the right to produce this legislation?
