WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Obama administration on Friday asked a federal appeals court to block Alabama's strict new anti-illegal immigration law after a federal judge allowed key portions to take effect.

The Justice Department filed an appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, based in Atlanta, and also asked Blackburn to put her ruling on hold pending that appeal.

Yes, let’s waste more tax dollars suing states for trying to enforce immigration laws. Yet, sanctuary cities that brazenly choose to ignore our laws, somehow manage to remain unscathed, completely escaping the wrath of Obama and the DOJ.

It's freaking unbelievable, isn't it? He's a two faced hypocrite! Anyone who votes for Obama this time around needs their head examined.

IMO, If they ignore our laws why don't we ignore Obama and his new laws. He's trying to make up his own laws as he goes along. Who died and left him King? It's the Constitution Stupid!

The states should do what they want and let Obama come and make them stop. Americans should withhold federal income tax and see how long the Obama administration lasts!
