Profiling of 'brown' people in Arizona is a concern (green card, certificate, drivers license)

I am as anti illegal immigrant as almost anybody here; but, what does concern me is the possibility of green card holders let alone US citizens being mistaken for for the former group and being abused.
BTW: not all 'brown' people are Hispanic'. Many Native Americans, Mulattoes, as well as 'Anglos' like Middle Easterners, some Europeans, etc. may catch flak.
Although more and more 'Latinos' are willing to accept the potential downside of being mistaken as illegal to help toss the true illegals out.
I have no problem with them asking me to prove I am a legal citizen of this country. I am white, and I am ready to do so any time. It is not a race issue, it is a status issue- are you a legal citizen of this country, or are you not? Seems pretty simple to me.
My passport, drivers license, and birth certificate are ready at hand. How about you??

I agree.
What does concern me is Americans who look stereotypically 'Latino' facing the strong possibility of hate crimes, etc.
A friend of mine; who is White, legally speaking, looks Mestizo with her slanted eyes, high cheekbones, etc. on top of brown hair and eyes and I suspect that racism may in part be hindering her here in Arizona.
Never mind that she and I are both of Hungarian heritage (I am absolutely Nordic White in appearance).
I think we need to keep in mind all the good that can come out of this. I realize profiling people for legal status may be mildly or slightly inconvenient for some, but we have to remember racial profiling is a legitimate law enforcement tool, and we should embrace it with open arms. In the long run, profiling like this can save lives, especially considering the violent crime rates of illegal aliens.
We have five to ten-thousand Hispanic illegal aliens sneaking over the southern border every single day. Which means conservatively, we probably have at least 20 million Hispanic illegal aliens in this country. Probably more. They usually take entry level jobs and frequently speak very little English. Who should we be looking for? These illegal aliens are for all intents and purposes career criminals. And they have infested our society. We haven't reached the point were we need to take the military and go door to door. But it could eventually lead to that.
Remember, only criminals need to be concerned about this.

the best way of stopping accusations of civil rights abuse is to competely stop enforcing the law.
this would please the bad guys to no end and make your life much much more dangerous. to the extent that you see bad stuff going on around you we have already backed off big time on enforcement due to civil rights abuse accusations.
it is not the police that need to be controlled its the criminals.
criminals constantly accuse authorities of misconduct. how sad, a peace officer is guned down, hardly a tear is shed, but let a violent criminal die at the hands of the law, the city goes into a rage. if this is not evil it is a good imitation no?
