According to the GOA, the TSA approved flight instruction for more than two dozen illegal aliens at a flight school in Boston owned by an illegal alien. Eight of the students entered the United States illegally and seventeen had overstayed their allotted time in the country. Remarkably, six of the illegal aliens were able to obtain pilot licenses.
The cartels are getting very sophisticated. I bet those pilots would be flying private "Chessnas". Highly unlikely the air drops wouldn't be care packages for the needy.
Anyone else questioning the actual involvement of TSA in this? I did not visit the link because I limit the sites I visit for security reasons, but the claim that "TSA" is involved in something like this is very odd. The DHS, maybe, but it seems like bad reporting by someone who doesn't completely understand the role of TSA. Basically, it seems out of the scope of TSA to be involved in determining whether some illegal immigrants can take flying lessons. TSA does not handle things like that, but the DHS (Department of Homeland Security) may have been involved in some way. Wrong agency reported more than likely and it is unfortunate that things like this get reported. It also seems like the headline of the story on that website is misleading.

The whole thing sounds a little screwy. How could an illegal alien get clearance for a pilots license from the
FAA, much less open a flight school. Home Land Security should be all over this one.

A GAO official told CNSNews.com that, based on their names, none of the 25 illegal aliens who attended the flight school appeared to be from Muslim countries. Instead, they had Latin American names
As told in the above article, it's just another show of how inept, useless and ineffective (and corrupt?) the TSA is. Seems they concentrate on Arabs/Muslims who are the only threat to the US.

TSA is busy searching 80 yearold women and 4 yearold children. They dont have time to police flight schools. Besides whoever heard of terrorists hijacking planes and flying them into buildings?
Obama and his crew are on top of it dont worry.
