L.A. police chief proposes leniency for some arrested illegal immigrants (license, laws)

Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck on Thursday unveiled plans to refrain from handing over illegal immigrants arrested for low-level offenses to federal authorities for potential deportation.....Beck told reporters he does not believe federal detentions under the program should apply to illegal immigrants arrested for "low-grade misdemeanor offenses" and similar crimes....Beck said he believes in some cases the detention of illegal immigrants has unnecessarily split up families.

The chief is taking his orders from Tiny Tony, the mayor of LA. He has turned LA into a sanctuary city and is protectecting the illegal alien invaders. He has told the chief to allow the illegals to break Ca. laws but wants them enforced against legal citizens, can anyone say discrimination. Can't wait till the lawsuits start coming in. Almost sounds like corruption doesn't it?

Regular legal citizens should also get the exact same protection.

They're going to be lenient on 3 major things that illegals do:

1. Driving without a license

2. Being drunk in public (and petty crimes)

3. And not having I.D. when they're arrested!


If you're a citizen you are accountable, if you're ILLEGAL you're NOT!

What I don't understand is why they need the trust of illegals, not to report and deport them?

They need the trust of the residents!

He certainly is! I guess we shouldn't arrest American lawbreakers either to be fair, right? Afterall, they would be separated from their families.
