I am convinced La Raza is being funded by the Mexican government. Of course we already know that U.S. taxpayers are also being forced to fund this ethnocentric organization.

Agree!! We are also paying for GPS's, so they can safely find there way!! Wish it was just as easy, for an American to break the law.

We now have a two-tiered system of laws -- one for citizens, and one for illegals. After all, illegals don’t realize they are violating our laws, so we certainly can’t punish them. We must reward them for their efforts.
garbage journalism.
what a laughable source. reading that article is painful.
completely biased and misinformed.
i love the contributors note also... an argentine living legally in the US.
thanks for the laugh

One of those super emotional rallying calls that make no sense and obscure the actual issue. Mindless propaganda like this sucks.

I understand why you are disgusted with the organization. You dont like the political issues they support. However, when one is convinced of something is because they have reliable information. First, I have never read any information that states there is a relationship between NCLR and Mexico. If you have it, please share it. These types of comments are exactly what makes me think that people are so uneducated concerning Mexico and American organizations. If you want to educate yourself about it, you should first know that Mexicans (in Mexico) do not think they are the same as Mexican Americans. Its kind of like the relationship you find between African Americans and Africans with the exception that Mexican Americans (many) do have Mexican parents.

There is a long history of transnationalism in the relations between the Mexican government and the community organisations of Mexicans abroad. The contacts developed throughout this history have allowed for the formation, proliferation and consolidation of Mexican immigrant organisations, and influenced the characteristics of their relationship with the Mexican government.

The fact remains though that the NCLR supports amnesty for illegal aliens and the fact is that most of them are from Mexico or other Latino countries and the NCLR is an ethnic based organization.
To the Pro Illegal Posters. YES, the Mexican Government does support all those groups. It is cheaper to do that and send their unwanted people here, to the US.
Why do you think they have Mexican Consulates around The US instead of just one. We will not fall for your drivel. Keep trying it is entertaining.
