Now -- (cheers, applause) -- now, during my first term, we took steps to try and patch up some of the worst cracks in the system. First, we strengthened security at the borders so that we could finally stem the tide of illegal immigrants. We put more boots on the ground on the southern border than at any time in our history. And today, illegal crossings are down nearly 80 percent from their peak in 2000

WOW the lies this guy tells. There is nothing secure on our border on immigration system if there are 11-25 million illegals here & more coming each day.

if you are a citizen, you shouldn’t have to wait years before your family is able to join you in America. (Cheers, applause.) You shouldn’t have to wait years....And it’s really important for us to remember our history. You know, unless you’re one of the first Americans, a Native American, you came from someplace else. Oh my God! Now our own president is using the native indian argument to justify illegal immigration? The native indians didn't come from somewhere else also? They just sprouted up out of the ground like corn? Unbelievable that he would imply that legal immigration into our country past and present is the same thing as illegal immigration today. This from our president, folks!!! No wonder he has no respect for our immigration laws.
