The House version isn't likely to adopt the Senate bill in its entirety, but both the Speaker and the Minority Leader are behind reform legislation and predict it will move forward. Time will tell. But there will be bipartisan legislation in the House.

You overlook the fact that these politicians are, as usual, trying to make it look like they want to solve a problem with a set of useless actions instead of actually doing something and enforcing existing laws.

There are very few in the Republican party that want this legislation to pass only a few idiots who think they will garner more of the Hispanic vote (as if our laws should be held hostage by a certain ethnic group anyway). But I guess the pro-illegals get all giddy when a few support it since they are grasping at straws anyway.
