Senate rejects border fence - Washington Times

No border fence, no securing the border? Then that should end any further talks on this matter immediately. Nothing else to talk about if these dopes arent going to secure our borders.

Agreed or it becomes an open border and we change our name to north Mexico.

We don't need a fence . We just need to make sure those who aren't supposed to be here learn a lesson they won't forget when we catch them here. That is what they need to be talking about but then that might have results.....

This:

Mr. Rubio said he supports building a border fence, and pointed to $1.5 billion included in his bill for more infrastructure, which he said will go to a fence plan. Mr. Rubio said Mr. Thune’s amendment didn’t lay out the details for “a specific border plan.”

The devil is in the details or lack there of. As in 1986 the idea was to pass the amnesty then fund increased security and enforcement. No sooner than reagan signed it into law Congress forgot to follow through on their end of the deal.
As we watch the debates and the obvious pandering how can anyone believe that our elected reps intend to strengthen border security later? Look at the out cry when anyone even mentions holding illegals accountable for the many crimes they have committed already.
It is no accident that the illegals Obama parades are college graduates and not drug smugglers, convicted felons or ID thieves. This is a marketing campaign that would get any private business fined for fraud.

It's all about amnesty people.
It's not about immigration reform nor border security.

It's about legalizing 11-20 million undocumented Democrats.

You are correct. Any kind of reform in the bill is an after thought to the priority of amnesty.

Stating that one wants a border fence when in truth they know it would never be funded just like the last time it was approved by congress means nothing then.

The problem with this bill is that it is a hollow bill of half measures. half measures = halfazzed. Like any job done halfazzed it is next to worthless.

I say end all means tested social programs.
You come here then you sink or swim.

Make the social programs "back home" more attractive.
Have NONE here that require means testing.
