If your in the US illegally, every day your here your breaking the law. If your working, then your probably using falsified documents to do so, thats a pretty serious case of breaking the law and by definition, you can't call that person a model citizen.

Do you understand that when you use someone else's SSN to work, if that person is still alive you can cause them NO END of problems with the IRS? If that person is dead, you still cause them HUGE problems if they have a spouse who is drawing any benefits with regards to their spouse being dead.

These people are cheating the IRS AND the American people. Thats NOT being a model citizen.

To me, the main item in the story is that she has been here since age 8, and I don't think she made a decision to come here on her own. She is really a victim here of her parent decisions.

She should be mad at her parents then. They are the ones who showed a lack of morals and no family values by oputting her into a situation of being an illegal and a criminal.

She is paying for her parents' sins, unfortunately.

That's the way the cookie crumbles.

Shoot--why do any of us have to obey any laws?

Anarchy I say. That's the way to go! Why should I teach my kids to respect the law when it is flagrantly broken on a daily basis by illegal aliens, most of whom are given a pass?

Going 68 on a 65 mile an hour highway is a far cry from breaking into a country.
