So if they get sick do the hospitals turn them away? And I can hear the Grubers battle cry, but.. but what about the children.

They are so damn good at spending other peoples money.

Petch, you know the answer to that question, why even bother asking? You don't get hospital treatment based on your citizenship status, or even ability to pay . Guess who signed that law? President Reagan , you know, the guy that conservatives consider he's on the same level as Washington and Jefferson?

You are intentionally leaving out the fact that it was an act of congress that Reagan signed into law, that meant that both Republicans AND Democrats agreed to it, NOT just 1 person.

Unlike Obama that overstepped his authority and will be challenged on this.

BTW when Reagan signed Amnesty into law it was supposed to a one time deal solving this issue, but instead was Reagan's greatest failure.

Next time instead of "guessing" try telling the "complete" story.

So what about Chipoltle and all the other companies that have paid millions in fines and costs for employing these suddenly legal workers?

As a shareholder, do we get our money back, Mr. President?

Obama has already that any Congressional bill passed must have a path to citizenship. With that path to citizenship, any illegal law-breaker is rewarded as is his/her immediate family when the illegal gets to claim them and bring them over.

It is obvious that the Republican Party see no problem with illegal immigration as they have never act to do something about it. In fact, Republicans are even more pro immigration than Democrats. The Obama plan is actually very sensitive. The current Obama-plan includes;

1. If you have to been into United States for longer than five years or you if have to have a child or other close relative with an American Citizenship you will be able to apply for a three year long temporary work-permit.

2. If you have been convicted for a crime you will not be able to seek the temporary work-permit.

3. If you are given a temporary work-permit you have to pay taxes and you are not available for certain welfare-services which are given to citizens.

I cannot see that these demands are unreasonable. Obama refuse to deport illegal immigrants because he sees it as morally wrong. What he basically is saying is that he will not enforce the law nor will he want to see a change in the current laws because he is not advocating free immigration. So long you have borders you have citizens, legal immigrants and illegal immigrants. I do have a problem with Obama in the sense that he will not enforce written law and deport those 11-12 million illegal immigrants because when you don’t enforce the law it is nothing more than a piece of paper and people will not act upon it. It is one of the reasons why the US sees such high growth of illegal immigrants. Once again, I think the Obama plan is better than nothing and because the Republicans is clearly have no intrest in the issue and they are obliviously only play the game of politics because they have no plan what so ever just as George W. Bush. Obama’s executive order is what I can see within the so called DREAM act.

DREAM Act - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Frankly, Republicans are only angry because they voters require them to be angry. It is just a game so they can be reelected and their threats are just empty and as hollow as everything else Republicans done since Abraham Lincoln. It is not Obama who is a “lame duck” but it is the Republican Party (GOP) which slowly dying off. More and more people understand that Republicans is a Plutocratic institution which also shared with the Donkey. They care nothing for poor Americans who fear their salaries being dumped by immigrants nor do they understand that their policies are creating poverty in third world countries including Mexico. The Republican Party is at most concerned about votes and that homosexuals are not allowed to marry and rape-victims have an abortion. There is no chance that you will see beltway Republicans listen to congressman Steve King, Senator Ted Cruz or why not libertarian Senator Rand Paul when it come to immigration. Personally, I think president Obama did the right thing and we should be happy having a president who is actually doing something instead of these Republicans who just want to be reelected.
Let's see, doing something.....Allowing millions of illegal aliens tor remain here and retain the jobs that unemployed or under employed Americans needs and keeping wages low. Encouraging more illegal immigration with another amnesty which is exactly what happened with the last amnesty. Continuing with over crowded conditions in our schools, jails and hospitals. A continued demand on our social and natural resources. More anchor babies dipping into our welfare coffers. Yeah, Obama sure does care about the people and laws he is supposed to represent and honor. What a great decision he made for the Americans people.

We have numbers for immigrants that are not citizens that are used to pay taxes (IITN)

SS numbers used to be just for citizens.

Now they won't be able to tell anyone apart.

No, we want them out of our country so that unemployed Americans can get back the jobs they are holding and they in turn would be paying taxes rather than collecting unemployment. So that paying taxes argument holds no water.

No, he didn't. Obama's EO is illegal. It's a federal offense to harbor, or aid or abet the harboring of illegal aliens in the U.S.

8 U.S. Code § 1324 - Bringing in and harboring certain aliens | LII / Legal Information Institute

That's what the GOP needs to pursue. The U.S. President does not have the authority to issue an EO that violates federal law.

Bob, they will be able to claim the Earned Income Tax Credit on their taxes. Taxes may be taken out of their pay check, but look at the big tax credit they get. For example, with EIC, a family with 2 children making under $46,000 gets $4500. A family with three children gets $5000 or $6000, I can't quite remember. The argument that America will get a benefit because they will pay taxes is just not right.

Here's a link to show what they get:

You collect taxes by attaching an id number to every employee. The employer is your cop on that issue. He rats them out to save his ****.
