A Border Patrol agent killed by a suspected smuggler's vehicle he was trying to stop near the border was identified Sunday as a 32-year-old father of two.
What is said in that one paragraph above is reason enough for other officers to open fire and riddle that damn vehicle with bullets. Another officer killed leaving behind a wife and kids.
It's a damn shame that these officers don't have more authority to protect themselves without fear of going to prison.
