Thats because Romney hires illegal hispanics to slave away in his million-dollar mansions, used to support the McCain amnesty plan, then turns around and hypocritcally runs on anti-illegal immigration platform.
Latinos in Florida saw Romney's blatant hypocrisy, and they rejected him. I applaud them.
For the uptenth time Romney did not hire illegals to work at his estate. He hired an American company to do the work. That company hired the illegals. Was Romney supposed to go out and check the workers they sent out to see if the were legal? Hell, they'd be calling him racist if he did that. Just because someone looks different or speaks another language how dare he question them, right ???? Besides I'm sure Mr. Romney wasn't sitting around in the front yard sipping iced tea watching people mow the lawn. Get your facts straight.
Romney IS the only candidate STILL in the race that had the balls to stand up and say no amnesty in any way shape or form from the get go in this race. Latinos in Florida rejected him because they are sympathetic to illegals. McCain is in bed with Latinos and even has Juan Hernandez on his staff. He caters to illegals so much it's sickening.
give a group of Americans.. such as the minutemen the authority and funding to clean up this mess.. and you will see a HUGE improvement in border security. You give the minutemen want they need to clean up illegals.. and you will see huge numbers of illegals deported, thousands LESS in anchor babies! Millions SAVED on healthcare and welfare! Business's will have to once again start paying a decent wage.. Americans will have jobs again!
Our government could go with a private group to clean this mess up.. give the minutemen group the authority and funding.. funding for like holding cells, transportation, equipment, security units, patrol vehicles and so-on.
They would give their time for free.. So would I.. give the minutemen the supplies needed.. and they'll get that border fence completed! There are thousands of REAL Americans who work in construction.. who would have NO problem in helping with building that fence! Let our government supply the materials,,, let the minutemen have the authority.. fence is done! illegals sneaking across would be something of the past! Anchor babies are history!
Americans have been volunteers for needed services such as security for years! look at WWI and WWII. many times people were deputized to help round-up a band of thieves or robbers. many Americans volunteer in the hunt for criminals.. so what's wrong with getting the criminal "illegals" rounded -up and out of here! Give a group like the minutemen the authority to clean up America from the abuse of illegals.. and America will get back to some decent social values.. and people who REALLY do care about America.. and who are REALLY proud to say.. I AM AN AMERICAN!

BlackNight I work with Cubans they are very racist towards illegal immigrants. They consider the Mexicans low class peasents.
And so it seems do a lot of Americans. Why is it Cubans get amnesty anyways? Just because their leader is communist. Who cares? What if the communist party takes over Mexico? Will we have to give everyone from Mexico amnesty also? The vast majority of Cubans were educated when they came while the vast majority of Mexicans were not. Cubans are welcome with open arms. Many want the Mexicans to go home. Smacks of classism to me.

I tend to agree.
With the country so polarized between the Democrats and the Republicans (about 40% each) those independents and moderates will end up calling the shots. Whichever way they can be swayed will determine the election. Right now, I don't see those folks favoring mass deportation - it's too expensive and would make us look like a nation of NAZI stormtroopers.
An approach like Arizona's (that focus's on the companies that hire illegal aliens rather than the aliens themselves) may well work (it will be interesting to see how things play out in Arizona), but a direct approach of mass roundups will never succeed.
