NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Davidson County sheriff, Metro police chief and lawmakers said on Monday that an immigration enforcement program has targeted almost 2,700 illegal immigrants over the past year.

Hey, if you catch an illegal DOING something illegal (other than his/her simply being there) then kick them out of the country. If I commit a crime here, after my jail time and/or fine, they'll drop me off at the border . . . .

Damn, then I'd have to sneak back into Mexico . . . .
