For now; the Anchor Babies are 'birthright' US citizens........although, that will be changing soon I suspect.
In other words: those Anchors age 17 on down can either stay in the US (with
legal friends/relatives) or once in their parents' homelands they can return here on their 18th birthdays-------legally.
And; of course, an Anchor Baby age 18 on is American and can stay.
If it were me: have a cutoff for birthright citizenship of, say, July 1st, 2008-----but,
grandfather all US born kids June 31st on earlier. Needless to say; I am referring to kids with parents who are
both illegal immigrants.
