VALLEY VIEW, Tex. — At 4:30 a.m. on a windy Monday, Tamara Estes swallows vitamin B12 for energy and krill oil for her arthritic fingers. Even with her nightly Ambien, she is always up before the sun, getting ready for a job that reminds her of what infuriates her about America.
She drives a school bus on a route that winds through a North Texas neighborhood filled with undocumented Mexicans. She picks up nearly 100 of their children and drops them off at public schools funded by American taxpayers. By her.
If I lived next door to Estes, she and I would become best friends! I totally understand where she is coming from.
Most people that are criminals or have criminals in the household live with fear. I don't see that as a big deal. One is involved in crime and their "number" comes up, so be it, it was good while it lasted.
And, we have citizens to do those jobs and they won't suck the public assistance by having 5 or 6 kids on the government dime.
No sympathy for criminals or others that can't follow basic rules/laws. It is unfortunate for the children, but it is more unfortunate that we have families with children that are homeless while funds are diverted to illegal aliens and their anchors.
Americans First! How many people in their own private lives would give to charity while letting their own children starve and sleep in the streets? The government needs to be run the same way, charity when there is "extra" not as a priority over our own citizens. We have so many older citizens in KS, one county's fastest growing population is over 80 years of age with many fit enough to stay in their homes with a little help from Medicaid who has taken most of that funding away, yet unlimited funding to deliver anchors!
I am filled with "hope" also. "Hope" that these illegal aliens will take their families "home" and just be thankful for all the benefits they reaped while being criminally present in our country.

Isn't being here illegally itself a criminal offense?
When there is a talk about deporting criminal aliens first, shouldn't all of them be classified about 'law breakers'?
I guess you have the really bad ones but a crime is a crime bottomline. For those who haven't 'committed' any severe crime, should we give them an instant greencard?

Actually, entering the US without authorization is a criminal offense, visa overstayers is considered a "civil" offense, both are equally deportable and both are often "documented" having stolen the identity of an American citizen.
The thing is most of them have additional laws they have broken in order to stay in the US. If they are working, they have broken another law. Driving in most states and they have broken another.
For those that haven't committed any severe crime, they entered the US without authorization which is a violation of our law and they are deportable. They should be deported.
We have over 1 million US citizens in prison for non-violent crimes. They are separated from their families, many have children. If they have broken the law, should we release them if the crime wasn't "severe".
Instant deportation. Glad to see they taking on more judges to move things along more swiftly!
