His case is remarkable for two reasons. At 16, Ruiz is representative of a class of highly vulnerable undocumented minors living under a presidential administration that is pushing people like him out. Even more remarkable is the person who helped get Ruiz to this point ― his lawyer, who also happens to be New York state’s first openly undocumented attorney.
I don't understand why the attorney is still here, or how he is legally practicing law here.
Also, under certain conditions, asylum can be revoked.
What if we sent all the children in the US to another country who have suffered abuse, neglect and exploitation? Many children and teens live in VERY unsafe neighbors, VERY unsafe homes, yet they don't leave the country. Many of those children/teens are unsafe because of the illegal aliens that have come in.
I think we need to have a conversation with the countries where these people claim their is an issue
and sanction them until they take care of their own.
