Fearful they will be deported by the Trump administration, thousands of immigrants are illegally crossing from the U.S. into Canada in hopes of being granted asylum.
Last I heard, Canada doesn't want "economic" immigrants. When they saw that they cost US taxpayers $117 billion a year, I'm guessing they are hesitant about taking that on.
Good. This shows that people will self-deport if we just enforce our laws, and they will take their American born children with them. No forced deportation necessary.
Canada is going to build a Wall and the America is going to pay for it.
If we can get all the illegals we have right now on the Canada side of the wall before it is built, it would be a good investment on our part. Would save $117 billion taxpayer dollars a year after the initial investment in the wall!
Additionally, it would save lives of American citizens.
Self-Deport. That only solves an immediate issue. If Canada in turn deports them, they wind up on U.S. soil again, do they not?
They aren't US citizens so they shouldn't be deported, or accepted, back into the US.
