Workers' pink slips stacked ever higher in March as jittery employers slashed 80,000 jobs, the most in five years, and the national unemployment rate climbed to 5.1 percent. Job losses are nearing the staggering level of a quarter-million this year in just three months.

Not 'illegal immigration' related per se admittedly; but, the deepening recession may the 'tipping point' to really start cracking down on anybody who aids and abets the above-------even in states like California.

If you need cheap workers, we have 2000 prisons in this country with a workforce of 50,000 who work for 11 cents a day. Put thier criminal asses to work picking tomatoes. It might even deter crime if they knew that part of thier prison sentence would be labor in the fields...

What if they refuse to work? Well like the last poster said, they make 11 cents a day.
If they dont want to work we can just double their salary. That autta get them motivated.
