Although this is a bit misleading as the border wall won't be completed for months yet. It is however to nice to see the great progress being made.

The Trump administration is racing to build the president’s border wall as quickly as possible ahead of the Nov. 3 election, with construction crews now adding nearly two miles per day. It is an unprecedented pace toward meeting one of Trump’s signature 2016 campaign promises.

Note this in the article.

"There will not be another foot of wall construction in my administration,” Biden said in August during an interview with reporters from the National Association of Black Journalists and National Association of "Hispanic" Journalists".......... Pander, pander and to hell with our security.

But it's all for show. When he can easily make a difference, he doesn't bother to.

Quote:
Without the two agencies’ giveaways, many visa workers would be forced to go home once their visas expire or their companies discard visa workers during the recession. Their homeward return would be good for American graduates because it would pressure U.S. CEOs to hire American professionals instead of the preferred visa workers.

But if the Indians can get the green cards, it becomes easier for the Fortune 500 to recruit more Indian visa workers to fill out more U.S. jobs. The “effect would be to encourage more Indians to come over,”

Trump doesn't really care about immigrants taking our jobs. He just wants your votes.

Indian workers with green cards are not the problem.
Undocumented people who have no desire to work are the problem, and they have been allowed to simply walk into America.
You don't know what Trump cares about. I know what I care about, though, and the wall is pretty high on the list. I never had a job that an immigrant took away. I'm retired now, so it will never happen, either.
No, saving my job was not a consideration when I contemplated a wall. Saving America from hordes of unknown miscreants with unknown intent seems like a pretty good idea to me, though.
They will easily finish 500 miles of new wall by years end. It will still be there 50 years from now.

You must not have read the article. Indian workers with green cards are the problem.

The backroom maneuver “shows how the special interest groups that run our guest-worker programs always manage to get workarounds to avoid the limits that Congress has put on these programs to protect jobs for U.S. workers,” she said. The programs are not about claimed shortages, she added; they’re all about preserving a pipeline of [foreign] workers to replace Americans.”

The giveaway and the green card economy are getting little coverage from white-collar establishment journalists, despite the damage it does to American white-collar workers and to Trump’s reelection chances. For example, reporters at Jeff Bezos’ Washington Post rarely cover visa worker issues.

Bezos’ Amazon company is a leading user of H-1B and OPT workers.

Immigration lawyers expect a huge windfall as the Indian and Chinese workers rush to gain their green cards and work permits.
You've been fooled in the shell game.

In practice, however, the shell game is notorious for its use by confidence tricksters who will typically rig the game using sleight of hand to move or hide the ball during play and replace it as required.

This is the most important thing that any U.S. President has done since Ronald Reagan destroyed the Soviet Union and communism in Europe.

Trump will always be known in history for Building the Wall and saving us all.

Saving us all from what? The wall is supposed to keep immigrants from taking American jobs. Trump is stopping immigrants from crossing Mexican border but letting them come in from India and China. Foreign workers are still taking our jobs.

It will be. Trump may do something about this, but I doubt it because he's too busy playing golf. His base could wake him up, but they seem unaware. They're too focused on the wall and Roe v Wade.

Illegal aliens aren't "immigrants" so let's keep that distinction in place, shall we? The Democrats are the ones who are pandering to illegal aliens and their supporters for votes by promising amnesty, opposing the wall and creating sanctuary cities. They don't care about the loss of American jobs or what illegal aliens are costing us either. Let the truth be told!

I think the last 4 days we've all been overly consumed with tax returns, SC nominees and a debate.
