Utter nonsense! We don't need Mexicans or anyone else taking American jobs and then turning around and sending much of their earnings back to their home countries which isn't spent in our economy. Who's going to pay for their healthcare, education, etc.? It's a lose, lose proposition for the American worker/taxpayer. We need to secure our own border not depend on Mexico to do it for us.

Mexicans have been coming over the border on a daily basis to work and return home the same evening. They work the ranches and farmlands. Americans are more interested in collecting unemployment than working. I live in a small town of 1400 people and at least six businesses cannot staff because of unemployment.

Just as long as these Mexicans are coming here on the unlimited H-2A visas for farm workers then there isn't a problem. If they are coming here illegally then no, it's not acceptable.

Utter BS that most Americans are more interested in collecting unemployment than working. Where are you getting that crap? Farm work isn't a career job for Americans and is only seasonal work so don't attack Americans for not doing those jobs as that's why those visas were created. All other jobs Americans have always been willing to do for a fair wage until millions of cheap illegals flooded our border! Get your facts straight!

surprised/not surprised the article linked had little to do with the claims of the OP.

it's actually kind of darkly humorous - and would likely be indicative of what would happen if the US instituted similar programs - to read where a forestation program actually created deforestation.

What a complete and utter disgrace. Of course, we are only in this situation because politicians wickedly dismantled the successful policies of the past administration.
