A smart move by a conservative TV news station would be to put up a year to date figure for the amount of illegal aliens captured at the border. ANother graphic could display the number thought to have gotten away.
Back when it was all covid all the time, those counters kept the fear right in viewer's faces. For the entire time biden* has been president, there has been record number of illegals pouring in at the southern border. And this isn't just south & central Americans. It looks like a benetton commercial at the border. It would be easier to list the nations where people haven't tried to come across instead of list all the nations of the world where folks have tried to get in undetected.
An illegal counter would highlight to every American citizen and legal immigrant how our sovereignty is being ignored by both the people seeking to come here illegally and by those elected to uphold our laws, including laws that deal with who gets to come and stay legally in America.
I think we should do a counter for the kids that go missing every year (due to trafficking, runaways, abuse, or other nefarious activities). OR how about the number of folks getting busted/arrested for said activities? And then a counter for the number of missing that have been returned or rescued. I think that type of counter would be much more eye-opening.
That is a good idea OP but who would see it? They would never allow an illegal alien counter on CNN or any of the other Lefty "news" outlets so that would leave it to FOX and the types that watch CNN believe that FOX is fake.

Lots of Liberals watch FOX. How else can they know so much about what is there? They will see it. Probably won't do any good though.

What about a counter of all the rapes and murders by illegal aliens, or the number of times deported (pre-Biden since we don't deport under him) and returned like this wonderful undocumented citizen;
