NOPE! What you don't get is that they come for cash assistance, emergency and urgent care to include child birth, government housing (where they step in front of citizens who don't have children on the waiting list), have no education, so the reality is that they could not make it in their own country, so they come here for the easy life.
I don't think you are very familiar with the reality of illegal aliens, other than what you hear on the media. They destroy the towns turning them into 3rd world dives. They run down the areas, and the schools do very poorly struggling to educate children who do not speak English. Special education funding meant for our children with developmental disabilities, is squandered on "English as a Second Language" for non-citizen children and anchor babies.
Hey, what about this? In order to make my life and that of my family, I come and sneak into your house, and you would be forced to provide for us. That would be a "better life", and you seem to think that breaking the law is OK if one is trying to "better their lives", right? Yep, we would have our hands in your pockets, just like the illegal aliens have their hands in our pockets!
I saw some today in the store, and yeah, I have been around enough of them to know who is illegally here and who isn't. It was two adult men, one riding on the cart while the other pushed him around the store. They are SO socially inappropriate. They stare inappropriately also!
I think you should volunteer to house some with you, learn about their lack of values and morals, then come back and discuss the "situation.
Any wages they do earn, when they have NO RIGHT TO WORK in the US, are sent to their home country. They steal the identity of citizens in order to work and conduct their business - do you understand how serious it is to have your identity stolen. Some work under the table, which is also illegal, but it helps out when it comes to paying their share of public housing as the income doesn't appear to exist, public housing where they sleep, while 500,000 citizens sleep on the street or a shelter.
Better their lives? You do realize that we have thousands of citizens in prison for trying to "better their lives" and that of their families by breaking our laws. Those citizens are separated from their children who end up in foster care if no family is available for them. So, why reward illegal aliens and not citizens who break our laws. Why should there be rewards for non-citizens that break the law, and none for our citizens?
They could have gotten JOBS in Mexico, and not had a language barrier there making it easier for them to be employed, if being employed was something they were interested in, you know, earning their own keep!
They are destroying our country. It is an invasion, and it must be stopped!
