“Today, we are taking another step to do everything in our power to preserve and fortify DACA, an extraordinary program that has transformed the lives of so many Dreamers,” Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas said.

“Thanks to DACA, we have been enriched by young people who contribute so much to our communities and our country. Yet, we need Congress to pass legislation that provides an enduring solution for the young Dreamers who have known no country other than the United States as their own,” he added.

What a crock of crap! These DACAs have enriched our communities? Are our own American youth incapable of doing that? Why should we allow them to compete for jobs and resources against Americans? Why should they get a pass on our immigration laws just because their parents brought them here illegally?

Known no other country than the U.S.? That's crap to as most of them were brought here after the age of six and they know their own country's culture and language as it was taught to them by their parents!

Mayorkas is Hispanic. Go figure.

Here's some stats on these DACAs.

Allowing in over a quarter of a million unaccompanied children is just DACA 2.0 to. Topic started about that under another thread. These kids are replacing our kids!

I agree. It is both maddening and depressing.

This is BS.
I could get behind DACA if the border was SHUT. It ain't so I'm not.
This situation is infuriating as is so much of what is going on these days.

"La frontera no esta abierta," she said, repeating multiple times in Spanish that "the border is not open." - White House coordinator for the Southern Border Ambassador Roberta Jacobson.

We have "virtual" open borders under Biden by his lack of real border security, promises of amnesty and many other free goodies. It's what is causing them to rush our border. Now all they have to do is claim asylum and they are allowed into our country no matter if their claims are valid or not. We are losing our country.

So true. 5 million illegals are having a chilling effect on housing costs in many areas of the country.

Yes, and Biden couldn't care less. Nobody's told him yet that the billions he foolishly wastes on these illegals doesn't grow on trees.

I never heard about this proposed rule change, nor any public comment period. But now I see this all started last September
