Mexico finds 57 adolescent migrants crammed into truck (global warming, born, illegal immigrants)

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexican immigration authorities said they found 57 Guatemalan adolescents packed into a trailer on a highway near the U.S. border Thursday.

The National Immigration Institute said the 43 boys and 14 girls were crammed into the truck’s trailer, along with eight men and a woman and her daughter.

All of the adolescents were considered unaccompanied minors, meaning they had no relatives or parents with them.

This is what is most irritating to me. If these minors would have made it up to our border they would have been allowed into our country. Why in the world are we allowing unaccompanied minors into our country? They are the responsibility of their parents and their country not the U.S.!

Also the article goes on to say....... "Children are frequently smuggled through Mexico to rejoin parents or relatives who have already emigrated to the the United States"

How do their parents or other relatives just happen to be here already? You know damned well that most are here illegally themselves. How can these parents desert their kids in their homelands if it was too dangerous for them to remain there? Then they allow human smugglers to bring their kids here? The whole thing is just so disgusting to me! WTH is wrong with our government to be allowing this crap!

At the very least if these kids are rejoining family members here in the U.S. then those family member's status' should be verified. If here illegally they and these unaccompanied minors should be deported together ASAP!

Then they became undocumented immigrants who came to do work U.S. citizens don't want to do.

Then they became asylum seekers fleeing political and/or religious persecution.

Then they became refugees fleeing war zones.

Then they became residents who will revitalize the U.S.

Good list of the excuses that the pro-illegals use to justify these illegal's presence in our country. Only a fool would believe this garbage.

The boys work with the gangs, and the girls work as prostitutes for the criminal elements in the US. I suppose many of them are probably "sold" once they get here. I read that the smugglers often hold the people they bring in for ransom if they have families here waiting for them.

All the children should have been sent home and none allowed to remain. They belong with their parents in their home country. We have thousands of children who for many reasons (these kids have issues that most "normal" families cannot handle) already!

What kind of parents abandon their children? The kind that have children to anchor themselves to the USA. They will bring the kids in to get the child tax credits. They just recently changed the law in 2021.
