Another example of Mexicans being "too scared" to ask for change in their own country (medical, illegal immigration)

Thousands march in Mexico against violent crime - Yahoo! News (broken link)
If they are here illegally, they do not want to draw attention to themselves. That is why they will not normally look for medical care, go to the police about being robbed or beaten up. They have a lot of fears here in this country and just from reading the posts, it shows they have every reason to feel that way.

For example some cop who actually cares about how illegals hurt our country might arrest them for being an illegal.
"Most crimes in Mexico go unsolved with corrupt police and justice officials often complicating investigations. Several policemen were arrested for Marti's kidnapping."
Looks like they have some work to do in Mexico just like we have some house-cleaning to do here too.
It is about time: maybe the Mexican people are finally pissed off enough that they want to 'clean house'.
It takes time. Its not like they decided to suddenly change things, its just that a better Mexico has been a long time in the making.
Mexico hasn't been a truly democratic country for that long.
Within time, I predict more changes in Mexico for the better, and less illegal immigration.
It's going to take more than just protests but changing the way they vote. Also changing their silence and acceptance of crime. One problem is -- for example when they got that K-paz guy, supposedly 10 black SUV's appeared and took him, tortured him, and his tortured corpse was found a couple days later alongside some highway. How do 10 black SUV's with armed men manage to not be seen? No one saw or heard a thing.
Same with mordidas, all Mexicans have to stop supporting police corruption and their own corruption. They have to stop glorifying the crime lords in their music. Here you see the narco-music is the most popular, and Mexicans admire the drug lords, praise them in their songs.

Organized crime, italians did teach us a lot.

Of course Mexican police corruption is a factor. Also, what do you think a lot of rap is? The glorification of the "thug life"? Sorry but your attempt to demean Mexican culture again has failed miserably.
Also, what you just posted has nothing to do with Mexicans protesting for their rights. This is supposed to be a positive article, something that users on this forum had deemed false, and is now moving forward. In fact, this protest is still going on as we speak.
