....one single GOOD reason why we should continue to allow illegal immigration!!!

I mean, it all seems very black and white to me. The detractors try to create all of these shades of grey out of thin air, but non of their arguments ever hold water.

We have laws. We expect the laws to be upheld. If you break the law you should be punished (the opposite of rewarded). If you dont like a law, it is your right (as a citizen) to try and change the law through the proper channels, but that does not excuse breaking the law while it still IS a law. If you are not a citizen, you have no right to try to effect our laws. This is the way it is. OK? Now no more arguing!

I don't think anyone on here wants illegal immigration to continue. Typical of your side of the argument to want to create that illusion though.

If you have struggling family living in absolute filth, with no way out. Why would you be as greedy as to deny them the opportunity for a better life? Dont give me that do it the right way [mod cut].....you know how long it takes to get legal documentation? 10-20 years at the least. Maybe if this country wouldn't be such hard [mod cut] in giving people legal documentation faster, there would less illegals. Anyways I am all for illegal immigration. Afterall, this country was built on it. But to the struggling family, hopping the boarder, or taking a boat who come here and spend the rest of their lives working and actually make something of themselves...then I say come on in.

I welcome you with open arms.

The other ones should stay home, if all there gonna do is cause trouble.

Not trying to stir the pot. But really criminal is not the right term to use for the ones that come here and contribute.

Because we have our very own citizens in the same situation right now, and we should be taking care of them and protecting our own first. Simple as that. Don't blame me for the failures of another's country.

No offense, but, Nonsense! Nonsense! Nonsense!

What you are suggesting is a world with no countries. It sounds very nice if you are John Lennon, but it doesn't work in the real world.

Even someone with minimal macroeconomic education will tell you that your plan could only work if you either became 100% socialist or did away with all socialism altogether. No public schools. No welfare. No food stamps. No section 8 housing. No medicare. No medicaid. No charity care. Otherwise, the entire economy will collapse. Are you prepared for any of these options? Or do you not believe we would be flooded with poor immigrants from all over the world who want to "work hard"?

More "grey area" nonsense!

You have been here long enough that I know you know the answer.

Take away their jobs and they will pack up and leave themselves.

The same way they got here...

As recently as 53 years ago President Dwight D. Eisenhower successfully deported or forced into voluntary repatriation an estimated 1.2 million aliens within a single year period of time using only about 750 border agents. (about 10% of the present head count)

In this PC world of today what is missing is the will, not the way.
