One of the reasons John McCain supports amnesty for undocumented immigrants is he thinks Hispanics are wonderful people. He recently stood at the Vietnam Wall and said I support earned legalization for the undocumented because some of the best fighters in the Vietnam War were Hispanic. Do you see the logic in John McCain's statement?
Since all nationalities/ethnicities were represented in Vietnam, I guess the border is open to all those from Ireland, China, Spain, Italy, Germany (more on this later), Angola, etc.
Since some of the best fighters in Vietnam were of German heritage, those nazis and neo-nazis are actually fine people!
McCain is just trying to find a politically correct way to justify his support of illegal aliens. McCain is in-between a rock and a hard place. Arizona has a huge Hispanic and illegal populations and he needs to be somewhat pro-illegal just to survive politically.
But the problem is, with his pro-illegal position it's very hard for him to win the republican nomination. So by having photo ops at the wall, and making statements like this pro-illegal alien one, he hopes to pull in more of the moderate republican vote.
This is just one more example of a politician simply doing and saying what he has to for his own political expediency.
This is what happens when people are so simple-minded that they overlook all the common sense reasons why Americans oppose illegal immigration and wrongly presume that it's all about ethnicity.
Maybe, what this really reveals is that these simpletons themselves tend to accept or reject people based primarily on ethnic terms...That certainly seems to be what McCain is implying about himself. Too bad for him.

He isn't feeling the "losses" of finanical, medical, educational, social services, violence, illegal drugs galore, that illegals are causing so many Americans for such a long time....he is not chosing to look into and see our pain, we citizens are collateral damage of these politicians goals of power for America.

John McCain is a TRAITOR . . . he has basically turned his back on the very individuals who put him in office . . . the voters of Arizona.
Also, Hispanics and Illegals are totally separate! I cannot speak for everyone, however, I have absolutely nothing against Hispanics but I am totally against ILLEGALS.
Obviously, John McCain either needs a dictionary or needs to learn how to use a dictionary.!
As far as I am concerned; pandering to those who support illegal immigration is skating on thin (political) ice these days.
Especially here in Arizona.
