Deported Immigrants Struggle To Re-Enter U.S. : NPR

Quote:
Garcia was picked up in April during an ICE raid on a chicken processing plant in Arkansas. Agents fanning out across five states arrested several hundred illegal immigrants working at Pilgrim's Pride facilities. Under a relatively new ICE practice, most of the illegal immigrants swept up in the workplace raids — including Garcia — were charged with identity theft and other crimes.
Yep: the ICE hammer is smacking its intended targets harder and harder.

And what price did Pilgrims Pride pay for hiring over 300 illegals?

Nothing. They "cooperated with the investigation".

They should have been fined big time. Maybe you can accidentally hire a couple of people who are illegal, but hundreds? And no outrage, no calls to boycott the company?
