The govt has NO CLUE how many are here. Even the estimate of CA @ 3 million is probably low. They would do better using metrics around govt services being provided to people with no evidence of citizenship.

They could do a much better job of it if they required any recipient of social services to check in personally every 6 months or at least the first time. The online free goodies is a joke and just invites fraud.

I know this one can't be right.

#19 Maryland: 56,000
There is no way in h^%$ that VA has more illegals than MD. If anything this chart dont reflect current events. Illegals are moving to MD in droves, especially from VA.

There are a lot more illegals than the amounts listed. Tons more!
Maybe the numbers in the first link are more correct than you think. Not to start the discussion here as there are other threads that discuss this but... not all who we perceive to be illegal are actually illegal. You don't know until one can produce (or actually not produce) documentation to the contrary. The second link is highly suspect.
