But a few weeks earlier, after buying a Dodge Ram truck at a local dealership, he had been summoned back to deal with some paperwork problems. And shortly after he arrived, so did the police, who arrested him on charges of using a false Social Security number. Mr. Urbina does not deny it; he has been living illegally in the Dallas area since coming to the country from Mexico in 1993. But the turn of events stunned him in a once-welcoming place where people had never paid much attention to Social Security numbers. If the arrest had come earlier, it might have had little effect on his life. But two years ago, Irving made a decision, championed by its first-term mayor, Herbert A. Gears, to conduct immigration checks on everyone booked into the local jail. So Mr. Urbina was automatically referred to the federal authorities and now faces possible deportation, becoming one of more than 4,000 illegal immigrants here who have ended up in similar circumstances.
Oh well he's just another illegal alien here doing a job an American won't do for the past 16 years. Or at least that's what they keep telling themselves.
And the hammer continues to fall---------------much to the terror of illegal aliens everywhere.
Suffice it say: I will wager that most illegal alien apologists will throw the illegals under the (metaphorical) bus if their latter's presence endangers the former.

“The people who come here illegally across the border are not educated people,” Ms. Richardson said. “They don’t have any culture or any respect for ours.”
Because if we don't accept more illegal aliens then we'll be labelled as racists? As a result we must allow more and more and more and...
I catch your drift: that stated; the 'race card' no longer works on me----------I have stated and will continue to state that I am indeed extremely prejudiced against illegal aliens due to virtually all of 'em being criminals by default.

Criminals by default?!!! When have illegal aliens ever chosen to trespass across the border illegally, on their own free wills, OR to overstay their visas?

Either you misunderstood my post or I was not clear:
I am definitely against illegal immigration and if somehow I inferred that you are pro illegal-------------please accept my apology.
Trust me: we are on the same side.
