LOL and the irony is no one mentioned race or ethnic background.

To complain is to look a gift horse in the mouth. And complain they do. Not only complain but also demand more still....
This speaks volumes about their character.
It's also the US's fault for putting up with it, and they do it for a reason. No enforcement speaks volumes to me and tells me the illegals will become legal for the third time in 25 years no matter what political party is in office. Remember McCain? As far as illegals having children born in the US, they are their children's legal guardian, they are here illegally, thus they and their children should be deported. When these kids come of age then they can reenter the US. Or the law should be changed altogether.

I have silenced many a pro illegal apologist whenever I state I am extremely prejudiced against illegal aliens irrespective of their actual race/ethnicity---------the shock tends to overwhelm said 'defenders'

Yeah, before it becomes unbearable for those of us who are tax paying citizens.

Mexico isn't unbearable. That's only what the illegals like to claim so they have some "good" excuse to stay.

The only thing in Mexico is they would have to work for a living there. They don't get welfare and free everything just for giving birth.

Mexico is actually a very rich nation, the 12th richest nation in the world, and Mexico has a growing middle class but in order to be middle class there and be comfortable, it takes some personal responsibility. Staying in school, finishing an education, getting job skills and delaying the start of a family until after that and employment.

But -- Mexico doesn't provide completely free health care, no free babysitting at Head Start centers, no generous allotment of food stamps, or WIC.

It's amazing the amount of children they will have when they can't take care of themselves first.

That is their job after all. They are here to have babies and to populate our country with Mexicans.

Why should they leave? They are counting on an amnesty. All they have to do is hide out long enough and voila! They are new American citizens.
Not that they care --- I believe that the majority of them will still consider themselves citizens of whatever country they sneaked away from first and foremost. After all, a melting pot society holds no interest for people who view the world through larazist eyes.

I blame much of this on US, (It's SUPPOSED to be 'our country'). Over last few decades, we've gone to GREAT lengths to promote 'multiculturalism', pushing the idea that "I'm OK, you're OK, and all cultures are equal, equivalent, and interchangeable".

This silliness has come to the point that NOW, we ask virtually NOTHING of any new immigrant; in fact, for all practical purposes, we don't even ask that they come LEGALLY. We don't ask them to ASSIMILATE, (since we can't even agree what they should assimilate TO), and it's no surprise that people from 'harsh' societies, used to being 'shoved around', arrive here to find a 'free-for-all' in which NOTHING is required of them.

It's pretty easy for me to see why they feel more 'emotionally connected' to 'home' than to here. Now, with the new 'dual citizenship', there's virtually NO pressure to 'adapt and become American', unless you 'want' to.....and some people DON'T..(and, apparently, that's OK with us)...

"No guy respects a girl who 'gives it away' ".....as they say. Perhaps it's the same with a country. If a country doesn't demand respect, it may be POPULAR, but it won't be respected.

This isn't politics, it's simple human nature.

And the pendulum is starting to swing the other way...............
