All the studies and polls they cite come from anti-immigrant groups founded by that racist John Tanton.

Many people are too lazy to follow the issues closely. It's called the "dumbing down of America." It's obvious the people polled are resigned to the fact that we'll never be rid of the illegals and find it easier to accept them if they pay taxes like the rest of us.

Don't for a minute think that the majority of Americans really want illegal aliens clogging up our country. Let's put it this way: The educated citizens are far and away against illegal aliens.

Do you honestly believe that the Pew "Hispanic" center is not biased in any way, shape or form?

Please provide something to back up the highlighted claim, having been in the academic environment for the past 9 years, this has not been my experience.

Or do you mean just educated on the issue?

Had I voted on that poll I would've been part of the 71%.

A recent survey by Benson Strategy Group--a group who conducts polling for President Obama and Fortune 100 Companies--found that 71% of likely voters think undocumented immigrants should take steps to become legal taxpayers. Similarly, Celinda Lake of Lake Research Partners said recent polling data suggests that voters want undocumented immigrants out of the shadows and on the books:

It would take 5 years of good moral character and tax paying before they are even eligible to became citizens.

The instantaneous citizenship that some anti-illegals claim amnesty is, it is not really instantaneous.
