CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A man has been sentenced in New Hampshire federal court for illegally re-entering the United States after having been deported to his home country of Brazil.
Thirty-1-year-old Aldair Borges de Freitas, living in Saco, Maine, was deported in 2006. He was found by immigration agents in December 2008 in Rochester and arrested. He pleaded guilty in April.
Borges de Freitas was sentenced Wednesday to about five months in prison, or time he's already served since he was charged.
Borges de Freitas now remains in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement pending further deportation proceedings.
Agreed.. And the sad fact is that MOST illegals do NOT come from Brazil! If we could crack down on those that make up the MAJORITY, then we can start claiming victory!
What? An illegal alien jailed for doing a crime! Too bad he's not an illegal from Mexico, they can get an attorney from Mexico to come over and take them home, no matter what the crime. Have you heard about the aliens that raped and killed 2 young girls (I think in Houston), went to jail, attorney from Mexico came over because they said he wouldn't get proper counsel here, and the they had to let them go. So they just went right back to Mexico. No punishments, free men. Heck, they are probably back over here by now.
