How much do you suppose obese illegals cost the US? Maybe they should be the first to be deported...
The response was to a person who stated we would save $10billion if we kicked out illegals...thus, logically the argument is on the basis of economics...if we take it to an extreme conclusion, it would make more sense to kick out obese residents.

to be at greater risk, does not mean they are in fact obese.

and making generalizations that hispanics are the fattest in a certain area would def warrant some form of statistic to back that up. i have yet to see that stat.

good try, but no cigar.

OK. Most pro illegals are too careful to let the real truth get out about the massive cost of amnestying 20 plus million illegal trespassers for obvious reasons. Don't forget that since most illegals work for, you know, cheap wages just about all of them would qualify for welfare and all of the other freebies, which should pretty much bankrupt welfare as we know it. Let's not forget either how much amnestied illegal mexicans will collect in social security payments over their lives.

First, nobody is covering up the "real truth". There is no giant conspiracy. Secondly, according to a 2006 estimate only 3-4% of illegal immigrants were on welfare. Whereas, 60-70% paid income taxes. This was out of a survey of 2,100 illegal immigrants. Thus, the results may be skewed...since it is self reporting...however 2,400 is a large enough sample size to typically offset the design flaws of self reporting. The highest figure I have seen is at 30%...which, albeit high is nowhere near universal.

Seeing how the majority have put into social security have do not use govermental assistance...again the majority I say they should be able to get their social security while they still can. God knows that I will never see social security when I plan to retire...regardless of illegal immigration or not.
