We were promised and assured that if we let them Sham-nasty the illegals that were here in 1986, there would be something done about future illegals and there would never be another sham-nasty, ever. I believe it is written in the last sham-nasty that it was never to be done again.

In this recession with millions and millions losing their jobs?

Sure.

If the politicians want to incite the citizens to string them up by piano wire and torture and kill them.

Just a gut feeling here, but I see nothing more than a continuation of the never ending dog and pony show that has been going on since the Simpson-Mazzoli scamnesty.

Besides it appears that they still do not have the votes.....

"For the president and top Democratic congressional leaders who attended the White House meeting, the cornerstone of immigration reform remains a massive amnesty for millions of illegal aliens. However, White House chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, made a point of dampening expectations that amnesty legislation is imminent. "The votes aren’t there," Emanuel admitted in an interview with the Christian Science Monitor. President Obama reiterated that point in a post-summit statement, saying, "there is not by any means consensus across the table."
The president also acknowledged widespread skepticism about the government’s ability and commitment to control our borders and enforce immigration laws in a manner that protects the security and vital interests of the American people. "The American people still don’t have enough confidence that Congress and any administration is going to get serious about border security, and so they’re concerned that any immigration reform simply will be a short-term legalization of undocumented workers with no long-term solution with respect to future flows of illegal immigration," President Obama stated."

Of course most Democrats are for legalizing illegal mexican future Democratic voters. Because all amnestied illegal mexicans would all be future Democratic voters as a result of all of the constant blatant Democratic hispandering? Ya think? However, all of the Blue Dog Democrats were elected on anti illegal immigration platforms and, since they didn't fall in lock step with Obama on the so called health care reform, may not fall in with Obama's attempts to pass amnesty.

Tell me about it.

A short term tactical fix, that has major flaws, if viewed strategically.

Common sense is not something seen in Washington, DC., Remember that.

Oh contrare. Illegals are being weaned out as we type. Sending illegals home seems to transitioning into another growth industry in our beloved US of A. Why not?
It's just an argument on which way we should profit on their being destitute and all. With the economy in the hole and the government going broke though, it's getting tougher to add value to them being here. The thing is, I don't care how the hyperbole or social consciousness and paradigms line up on illegal aliens, they should simply go home. America is full. It's not our responsibility to let masses of people in forever. Social globalization is a long ways off, I can't wait when these corporate, political and social elite hacks finally get it. They want everything to happen in "their" lifetimes, so basically they aspire to be god-like.

Yes but they will change the party to be more like the PRI, PAN, or PRD party and no white or black will be elected as a democrat in the near future.
