At work someone said something about illegals working hard. I said they all need to be deported no matter where they are from. Then I was told thats racist to mexicans. I bet if I said to only deport illegal russians no one would have anything bad to say about it. I do not see how enforcing laws is racists because we put bank robbers in jail and no one says thats racists.

I am not at all surprised. Given that Mexicans account for the vast majority of offenders it is now considered almost a synonym when you speak of illegals.
Its unfortunate and sad that we should feel compelled to apologize for wanting illegals to receive their just reward rather than support.
here in houston where i work at night time all the assembly are mexicans they think i am a foreigner from another country. I always get asked if I am from Finland or Norway or Netherlands. Is it because I have blond hair and there are not many people in the southeast part of houston with blond hair. I was walking through assembly to get to the steel shop where I work and I head one of the assembly people say "that boy with yellow hair" the person they were talking to said something about Norway.

The Mexicans in the assembly Americans of Mexican descent, legal Mexican immigrants or illegal Mexican immigrants? What would compel them to think in such a way if they're here legally?

That 'race card' no longer works on me----------I whip out my 'criminal card' and state I am extremely prejudiced against illegal aliens irrespective of their actual race/ethnicity.

Well, I don't think youre the type of person they want to care or even care about themselves. They're more aimed at the attention of politicians, inlcuding the President. But it's good you're paying attention.
When they pull the race card, you have to shut them down quick.

That shuts the race card right up, and we move on to their education, I nail them to the floor, and they are at a loss for words. Then the racist side of them comes right out everytime, all the sudden I'm a white A$$ redneck. Really, I thought I was a hippie for a little bit of my life.
