In another thread some Italian guy tried to compare his group's experience in America with that of black folks..........

But many Hispanics of the Mestizo mix try to play down their white genetics. They identify with their native indian side to claim victim status and some to back up their reconquista agenda.

True. I guess if they expect any credibility for their “minority” status, the brown and white Hispanics must come to a consensus. They have to agree that they are one race.

Actually; there tends to be some racism against dark skinned 'ethnic' Italians----------even in Italy.

And in Mexico racism against dark skinned Mestizos or pure indigenous prevails.

God yes but la raza will never admit to it.

In fact: several dark skinned Hispanics told me that when visiting Spain; they felt quite a bit of racism there.

It is also estimated that 75% of illegal aliens are Hispanic. Since the census does in fact include illegals, we must subtract the number of illegal aliens from the total Hispanic population to arrive at the total number of Hispanic-Americans in this country.

If we have 12-20 million illegal aliens, and 75% of illegals are Hispanic, we have 9-15 million illegal Hispanics. If the 12 million figure is accurate, that would reduce the total legal Hispanic population to 37 million. If the 20 million figure is accurate, that would reduce the total legal Hispanic population to 31 million. Both figures are less than the black population in this country, which is estimated to be 41 million.

Clearly, ethnocentric Hispanics have a vested interest in including Hispanic illegal aliens in their numbers. If not for MASSIVE Hispanic illegal immigration, and the millions of children they give birth to on U.S. soil, Hispanics would not have been elevated to the majority-minority slot. Furthermore, given that “Hispanic” can be from any race -- what are we really talking about, other than a shared language? Hispanic is as much a “race” as being an “American.” Moreover, if whites are the majority in this country, and many “Hispanics” are indeed white, why are white “Hispanics” even considered a minority?

As for your delusional belief that “Hispanics elected Obama” and, that in return, he will pass an amnesty. . . . dream on, DREAMie. Obama could NOT have been elected without the black and white votes. I’m so sick of hearing that the Hispanics were solely responsible for Obama winning the election. It’s pure hyperbole.

A lot of wishful thinking here, some undocumented are counte in the census but it is just an infimal part of the real number, or, do you think
that Panch Carae'queso is waiting for the census enumerator in his front porch to let him know how many undocumented live in the house????
ha, ha, ha....... beleive me I know about this, I was undocumented for over 20 years and recently obtained residence, my children are born US citizens and even them have never been counted in a census, I work with a private organization that help recently immigrated migrant workers here in Phoenix AZ, and there has been a significant increase of immigrants this year compared to the prior year, Like George Lopez tells in his comedic act; Hispanics are here to stay, they are not going anywhere,....... we should all rejoice.......

Wow, so that explains the exodus of 1 million illegal Mexicans back to that wonderful place called Mexico. Something doesn't add up. No pun intended.

BTW thank you for finally making yourself a legal resident and paying your way.
