I don't think a fence makes any sense. But I would like to see a viable employer database available and employers found hiring illegals be heavily fined. And maybe stop providing services to illegals so that they'll return home...
I don't want a fence, it could turn out to be another Berlin wall. How easy can it be for people to just come here in the first place? If someone can make it here, you know very damn well they will try (even illegally). The US government should of just watched all their borders if they didn't want anyone coming in illegally and now they are crying about it.
Are you guys joking? If the U.S. Government wanted a border fence, there would have been one up in the first place. The fact is it isn't going to happen... not with the current government, since the current government wants illegals to flood over into our country. If the U.S. was sane, there would be a U.S. Military base at the border as we speak, but the U.S. isn't exactly sane right now...
If the mess in Mexico spreads even more into the US you will see our boys and girls on that line. This whole kidnapping for cash is getting out of control.
the fence is effective and creating havoc for drug trade as well.
the san ysidro "gate" is moving to another state.
