we do value our legal immigrants. we need to start valuing our american labor.
unfortunately part of that labor distain stems from the fact that american labor is anti labor.

Why are we quoting a radical Hispanic. People don't come here because of some entitlement issue from Spain or Mexico or whatever. Give me a break. People come here to make a better life for their families, especially their children. To have the basic staples of life, which they may not have back home. Everyone knows LA has a high concentration of Latin and Black gangs. Most are gang bangers, and overwhemingly American born. So you are saying these people represent Latinos/Blacks as a whole? Interesting if you do.
It's a shame that people focus on a handful of people to try to depict a whole race or people. I think this practice is what leads to prejudice, which leads to discrimination and in many cases hate.

No, we don't fear legal immigrants! When an illegal invading horde comes by the millions from mostly one ethnic group the fear of losing our language and culture is justified. Yes, I am sure the indians did feel the same and that is why we don't want history repeating itself. You learn from history.
"Immigrants" come to work, live in peace, etc. No argument there but it is as plain as the nose on my face that you are speaking of illegal aliens in that paragraph. No matter what their intent is they have no right to be here and we object to their presence based on our immigration laws.

We aren't AFRAID of anyone, I'm tired of my tax dollars going to them and I also am pretty torqued about the increase in crime they bring. What do you think desparate people do if they cannot find work, shelter or food? They steal what they need to survive. Why are we allowing this?
