if over 550,000 were caught in fiscal 2009, how many made it across our borders and, if caught later, will be released due to her lackluster "efforts" ?

Apprehensions have always been the best indicator and informational tool used to estimate the real number of unauthorized border crossings. Border Patrol estimates are that they are able to catch one out of every three of four illegal crossers. I have had convsersations with Border Patrol Agents on the line who, when their supervisors were not around, have told me that the real ratio is closer to “one in eight or ten.”

What the USA needs to do is have internment camps for anybody caught crossing illegally a second time being that such an act is indeed a Felony.

Our elected reps make no effort to make sure illegals are caught and prosecuted.

They try until they succeed. It’s too bad they don’t use some of their perseverance to improve their lives in Mexico.
The Border Agents aren’t a joke. Rather, they are hindered by a government facilitating cheap labor. It’s hard to be effective with your hands tied behind your back. We need to have our military guarding our borders, with strict directives. Illegals are an invading force, and should be dealt with accordingly.
