I'm currently doing some research, and am curious if anyone here has any personal experience or knows someone who previously abandoned the U.S. after having their state or local community categorically "colonized" or "Mexicanized".

Accordingly, I'm interested in American citizens who are either considering fleeing the U.S. or have already done so with the primary cause being the destruction of their basic living environment and the resultant betrayal by the U.S. government to respond adequately to the problem.

Appreciate your responses.

I don't know any expats that left for the reasons. Most that I know left to find a place with a lower cost of living.
Some left because of our tax laws, and some left because they didn't like the direction our gov was going.

I know many Americans who fled California due to the influx of milions of illegals mostly from south of our border. I don't know of any that fled the country but I am sure there must be some who did.

I think many if not most who flee the country move to Canada. They speak mostly English there and their culture is compatible with ours.

I've spoken with some who've left California for Hawaii due to the massive influx of illegal aliens. Others have gone to France, but for the lifestyle and cost of living.

I don't know anyone who abandoned the US because of illegals. The expats I know are primarily retirees who left California for Rio or Salvador, Brazil because it's a great place to retire especially for a male. These retirees were able to purchase beautiful beachfront homes for a low price, lovely weather, wonderful culture, generally higher standard of living but lower cost of living and of course Brazil's national treasure - her beautiful women.

To add, I'd like to say lately I've heard spoken of a return to California with the recent discussions on illegal alien law enforcement coupled with the fact that amnesty is now just something illegals can dream about, not a reality anymore. But those I spoke with are from northern states, Oregon, Washington, they migrated north, not abroad.

Americans don't tend to flee the country, they instead work for change and work to improve the country they love, not leave it.

That's one reason Americans reacted in disgust to people taking over the streets in large numbers, waving their Mexican flags and chanting "viva Mexico" or those who claim they love Mexico so much but love our money more.

There is another reason you won't find a whole lot of Americans that have left the USA.

No other country has as lax immigration laws as does the USA. People cannot simply pack up and head over en masse to any other country. In order to immigrate to most countries including Mexico, there are rules and laws that must be followed.

While we allow millions of people to flaunt our laws and do whatever they want, no other country would allow millions of Americans to simply come on in.
