The new Arizona Immigration law does not stand a chance. Big business is against it, Obama is against it along with his Attorney General but perhaps most important is the mainstream media is producing an incredible number of stories putting the new law in an incredibly bad light. The reports on MSNBC and CNN are incredibly biased against the law and will shift public opinion because the stories will fool the readers/viewers into believing the talking points of the supporters of illegal immigration.

The media can influence public opinion because the carefully crafted stories can push an agenda and the average person is not smart enough to see the bias and one sided reporting.

We shall see how 'potent' the so-called 'MSM' is............especially in this recession. Too; comments after each pro illegal sob story tend to run about 5-1 against any sort of amnesty.

Hello? The mainstream media is made up of liberals. Liberals are Democrats. Democrats need to foster immigration..legal or illegal.. in order to get more voters. Duh.
The population in Arizona and elsewhere, is overwhelmingly in favor of the action AZ is taking, so bring it on, media, cause we're not buying what you're selling.

The mainstream media will slowly turn the public and Republican Party against the new Arizona law by constant biased stories. The people who do not understand what is really going on will be manipulated and change their minds and the support for the bill will go away. Economic boycotts will scare people also. The politically correct police will win. Don't underestimate the power of the media to shape public opinion. Most media stories on the issue of immigration are advocates for an open border.

Watch this -- it's not nearly as cut and dried as you try to pretend it is.

Postura a favor de ley antiinmigrante - Al Punto

Guess what -- not every "hispanic" is against having the laws on immigration enforced.
