I have just tracked down almost every on-line poll on the issue. All but one showed huge support in favor of Arizona's new law.
Polls, and to think that I thought this thread was about misinformation about the law, yet there isn't one single word from the OP about the substance of the law.

A police officer was on the news last night saying he has been given the legal right to detain American Citizens, question American Citizens, incarcerate American Citizens and even SHOOT American Citizens, certainly he should have the right to question illegal immigrants????????????

Anyway, being far from being pure or true, it is a hell of a lot better now that those points of "misinformation" have been amended by the Arizona legislature.

Excellent point made by the officer. I'd like to know just what makes these criminal invaders so damn preciously special that no LE officer (or ordinary citizen) should dare to offend them by asking to see their ID!
All this uproar because one single State finally decides to do the job which our Federal Govt is paid by us to do! But will not or cannot.
