The subject isn't immigrants it is illegal aliens and yes we and every other country in the world has the right to have immigration laws, enforcement of them and expect their soverieign borders respected. I fail to understand how you addressed my analogy with your comment above. Whoever owns the land, house or car today is what counts not who owned them prior to that.
Okay, then that means you believe we shouldn't be here because Native Americans did not want us here.
There was no unified country. There were no specific laws. And no race or country has cornered the market on cruelty or barbarism.
Remember one thing -
Everything that is legal is not ethical nor moral. Google "Trail Of Tears" and do a little reading.
When you finish, if you really believe that whatever someone does is OK as long as the law is not watching or if it is dictated by the law, I can't help you.

Not letting everyone on the planet come to the US is not comparible whatsoever to the trail of tears. Bad analogy.

I see you aren't comprehending a thing I said. Once again, whoever owns the land presently are the rightful owners and they have a right to say who can enter it and who cannot.
Your point was that not all laws are moral, I got it. I think you purposely made a perverted comparison of the trail of tears to enforcing immigration laws as if you think they're comparible, which was my point. By the way, no one on this forum needs your permission or research demands before they comment, so save your condescending remarks for somewhere else.

Well, the Native Americans were the rightful owners and they did not want us here. You can't have it both ways.

So - Shoot from the lip, comment as you see fit, and you shall be known as faithful to your name, guaranteed.
I tried to be nice. Apparently that doesn't register with you.
I believe the operative word is “were.” To the victor. . . .
It was in the past, so I was correct in saying that. If Europeans were here first and still controlled the land then I would say "were" even though they had power.
And now Mexicans are coming in just as Europeans did. It should not be a problem.
