This is what it comes down to of course. The Sheriffs and Police in Arizona are not equipped, trained, or have the capabilities to remotely attempt to enforce this piece of legislation. The Pima County Sheriff came right out and said it already. This circus is going to go away with nothing accomplished except make some lawyers rich in court.

Dupnik repeated what he told KGUN9 in an interview on Tuesday: the new law is "unwise, stupid and it's racist." "We've been asked to support this law. We don't need it and I won't do it," he said.
He said neither the jail nor the Pima County Attorney's Office has the capacity to handle an influx of illegal aliens whose sole crime is that of being in Arizona without proper documentation. But he will continue to jail any illegal aliens suspected of other types of crime.
