Arizona state legislature decides to build a wall protecting the Arizona/California border and line it with armed state troopers to prevent illegal entry of undocumented immigrants across state lines.

God I hope SOON! But they'll send the National Guard, that'll be ok too

California and Arizona will do their own deal in their own States. Anything to deter illegal aliens from entering America works for me.

Reality? The Federal Government will be so embarrassed now that other states are beginning to enact similar laws as Arizona's and they will step in securing the borders to save political world watching face.

And I'll agree with you that "other states are beginning to enact similar laws as Arizona's and they will step in securing the borders to save political world watching face."

Plus until someone actually spends time here in AZ
they will never know the true impact on our daily lives
many people's lives have changed because of having
a border that is not secure. I at this time can not think
of another border on the planet earth that is open and
not secured and please correct me if I'm wrong.

Since it is becoming extremely difficult for illegal aliens to cross the Calif//Mexican border now; simply 'extending' that line across our border with Mx would do more good than attempting to seal things off as you described.

Besides: outside of the SF/LA area; California is not that illegal alien friendly if they raise a stink.

They'd have to sell their cars and cross the desert on foot to get to CA. Nope, NM is going to get pounded.

Perhaps the reasoning of the Mayor of Albuquerque declaring a law similar to Arizona's. hmmm...he must know something.

Your exactly correct about that. Anyone read the Grapes of Wrath? Although it's about legal people from the Midwest moving to California, it sure as heck explains how awful the Californians treated everyone outside their state like crap.
